Communications Specialist in Columbus, Ohio

We are currently seeking a Communications Specialist to join our multi-discipline engineering consulting firm in Columbus, OH supporting Corporate Communications and Marketing initiatives.

* B&N Communications Specialist Responsibilities*:

• Write engaging content for B&N’s internal and external programs. This includes, B&N’s employee news and other internal communications, social media content, blog articles, website and other pieces as assigned.
• Assist with the maintenance of our digital platforms including our social media accounts, external website and internal SharePoint site.
• Provide support for Corporate Communications team programs and initiatives including reporting, award submissions, email distribution management and tracking, conferences, and other tasks as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or English.
• 0 – 5 years of experience in a similar communication and writing role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. SharePoint, Hootsuite, and Adobe Suite applications a plus.
