Project and Communications Specialist – IT – Digital Marketing and Analytics

First-shift, U.S. Central Time Responsibilities: Client is seeking an experienced, professional project and communications lead to partner and collaborate with team management to lead the team’s project work, accountability reporting, communications, and delivery. In close collaboration with the team manager, the project and communications lead will serve as the team’s project lead for planning, accountability reporting, communications, and delivery.
Specific responsibilities will include the following: • In close collaboration with and at the direction of management, facilitate and lead assigned project work for the team. • For assigned projects, facilitate team working sessions to plan, breakdown and assign work, size, estimate, road map delivery, and develop and implement effective stakeholder communications. • Create and maintain project artifacts such as: scoping documents, project plans, road maps, timelines, stakeholder engagement plans, communication plans, issues, risks, and dependency management, and project communications. • Strategize, plan for, and deliver efficient and effective project communications to stakeholders across all levels of the enterprise, from analysts to high level executives. Translating complex technical subject matter into relevant and meaningful messaging for different targeted audiences and stakeholders. • Prioritize and work in the grey with limited direct supervision on highly complex assignments.
Required skills: • Experience leading project teams, demonstrating the ability to achieve successful delivery, while overseeing and leading multiple concurrent projects. • Ability to work with common project tools and technologies (Agility, Version One, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Viva Engage, et al.) • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, for large and diverse audiences that use English as a primary language. • Demonstrated organizational and communication skills. • Ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization. • Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Desired skills:
• Experience with data project teams. • General IT knowledge of data analysis, digital, agile and product management practices and processes.
Strong in Office Suite plus Power Point, Excel, Presenting, Reporting, Planning efforts, Story telling, Sharepoint administration
Executive Summaries, Product showcases, working with business templates, graphics, digital accessibility standards
Nice to have: Agility or Version One, Adobe Suite, Digital analytics knowledge, Git Labs, Scrum master knowledge
CST or AZ time zone preferred
Not just a SharePoint Admin or Scrum master – more of a Communication Lead with experience in IT
Able to wear multiple hats and work with a variety of leaders
Highly professional and able to create enterprise level communications
Strong willingness to learn
Highly organized
SharePoint site management/delegate experience is a definite bonus (access, sites, libraries, organization, content, etc.) – This will likely be area and suite
High Communication skills, director and exec level
Strategic mindset around Reporting consolidation and presentation
• Metrics and strategic deliverable creation (roadmaps, summaries, etc.)
• Presentations
Strategic Focus – responsible for story telling and branding for the suite, and potentially helping with the area to keep things cohesive
Flexibility to adapt to the unknown (brand new area, so dealing with things like “you don’t know what you don’t know”)
• This means random assignments to fill in where we have the need and limited resources (ADL, PO, etc.)
