Are you a skilled communications professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the public health sector?
Our client, a leading organization in Washington, D.C., is seeking a dynamic Communications Manager to join their team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in developing and executing effective communication strategies that drive positive change.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans aligned with organizational goals
Manage relationships with media partners and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders
Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including content strategy, paid media, and analytics
Evaluate communication effectiveness and provide data-driven insights for improvement
Lead and mentor a team of communications professionals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment
Support business development and marketing efforts
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
6-8 years of experience in communications or marketing, preferably in the public health sector
Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication campaigns
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing and leading teams
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
Strong understanding of measurement and evaluation methodologies
Experience working with the federal government and agency (preferred)
