As a Ford of Canada Communications team member, the Manager will contribute to Ford’s transformation and the company’s future vision.
This position is project-oriented and challenges you to demonstrate strong writing skills, strategic thinking, business acumen and technical skills. Assignment areas for Managers include:
Electric vehicle communications
Mustang
Ford Performance
Software & Integrated Services
Enterprise Storytelling
Planning, implementation and management of all media outreach, events, and supporting materials in the areas of electric vehicles, Mustang, Ford Performance, Software & Integrated Services communication
Supporting key areas with agency Grassroots Communications teams to extend the Ford business and product story
Provide communications support to other company functions, including Marketing/Sales, Social Media, Government Affairs, Dealers and Manufacturing
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree or Post-Graduate education in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies/Media Relations (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Communications

Strong writing, reporting and verbal communications skills
News reporting or editing experience
Ability to develop innovative approaches to engage audiences

Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
Superior time management/multi-tasking skills
