Clearance:Active DoD Secret Clearance

Work Schedule:Onsite M-F with hybrid flexibility as approved.

Role Overview:

The Communications Instructor will provide comprehensive support to the government in all aspects of communications. This includes assisting with COMSEC support, developing communications plans for exercises and training events, and recommending equipment procurement. The role requires administering and maintaining communications assets, providing technical support to staff, and submitting regular reports on equipment, services, and training needs. Additionally, the Instructor will assist in identifying and evaluating communications needs, developing recommendations for equipment and training, and supporting the development of spend plans and other financial documents.

• Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed

Specific Skillset

• Assist and advise the government in providing Communications Security (COMSEC) support for equipment as necessary.

• Provide communications planning and support in conjunction with exercises and MTT and provide recommendations for equipment procurement.

• Administer and maintain mission assets with proper configurations, maintenance scheduling, bench testing, and pre-deployment testing.

• Provide technical support and assistance to staff in the use of communications equipment.

• The Contractor shall submit recommended communications equipment, services, specialized training, and communications curriculum changes report NLT 60 days after award and periodically thereafter and in the CCP.

• Provide technical assistance and evaluation in identifying communications needs and develop recommendations for the identification and procurement of communications equipment, services, and specialized training to support IT requirements.

Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Associates Degree in education, It, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

• 6 years military communications experience

• Radio terminal equipment applicable to Link 16/Multi-Tactical Data Link Network (MTN) operations.

• The proper handling and operational procedures of crypto and crypto related equipment.

• Military Instructor experience
