Communications Coordinator PMOUNTJP00000914 A leading digital streaming network is seeking a Communications Coordinator. The successful candidate will support two different communications teams and senior executives and work closely with both divisions’ show publicists and coordinators across administrative duties, communications and publicity efforts, internal and external communications, and events in support of the divisions. The ideal candidate has one to three years of experience in entertainment publicity, Public Relations (PR), or a related industry. The company offers a great work environment! Communications Coordinator Pay and Benefits: * Hourly pay: $27/hr * Worksite: Leading digital streaming network. (Studio City, CA 91604 – Hybrid, Must be onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) * W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL * 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment Communications Coordinator Responsibilities: * Assist with administrative duties, including managing schedules, expenses and contacts, and booking travel. * Track media coverage by compiling and distributing clip reports and highlight sheets. * Maintain, create and update press lists. * Manage Public Relations (PR) team calendar across divisions. * Support the publicity efforts for the divisions’ show launches, editorial initiatives, special projects, and more, including drafting and distributing press materials, guest listings, transcripts, and editorial highlights. * Draft press releases, media pitches and internal communications * Support event planning and execution for industry and company events. * Assist with social media posts. Communications Coordinator Qualifications: * 1-3 years of experience in entertainment publicity, Public Relations (PR), or a related industry. * Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. * Experience with media tracking tools and PR software (e.g., MuckRack, Meltwater, etc.) is a plus. * AP style writing, press releases experience. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Familiarity with entertainment industry trends, media outlets, and influencers. * Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms. * Excellent writer. * Superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and provide attention to detail. * Collaborative and team-player. * Strong, polished interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Strong interest in and understanding of news, entertainment, the media industry and world events. * High-level proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Slack. * Plus if there’s proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva. * Media database (Muckrack). * Media functions and interest in corporate communications * Graphics is a plus.
