Job Title: Communications Coordinator

Job Status: Year Round Full Time

Job Summary:
The Communications Coordinator will report to and support Copper Mountain’s
Communications and Philanthropy Manager to earn favorable coverage that
protects and promotes the brand. In addition to knowing the Copper Mountain
brand, the person in the position will need to have an understanding of
POWDR Adventure Lifestyle Co. to drive high funnel earned media placements for
the portfolio.

This role is a vital member of the resort’s Communications and Marketing
teams and the POWDR communications team. The Communications Coordinator will
focus on driving business for Copper, as well as Company-wide initiatives,
and must be familiar with and support an array of different divisions,
including but not limited to Woodward, Marketing & Sales, Events &
Partnerships, Food & Beverage, Lodging, Ski & Ride School, and Rental/Retail.

As part of the PR strategy, this role is also responsible for obtaining
maximum positive positioning for the resort through earned coverage,
internal communications and external/stakeholder communications. The
position will assist day-to-day efforts including, but not limited to:
fulfillment of media requests, media list maintenance, coverage
tracking, media hosting, internal and external resort communications and
incident management.
