Southeast Gas has an immediate opening for a Communications Coordinator at its Andalusia Office.
Responsibilities for the job include:
- Follows established communications plan to write, produce, and place digital communications including social media, traditional media, company-maintained websites, employee newsletters, etc.
- Coordinates meetings, special events, and company-sponsored community activities throughout the service area.
- Composes routine correspondence and reports. Reviews and edits departmental correspondence and reports, ensuring neatness, proper grammar, and accuracy.
- Prepares records, reports, and other supportive materials for employer use or anticipated use.
- Provides information and services to others within the division, throughout the company, and to individuals outside the company.
- Receives and transfers phone calls.
Requirements for the job include:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or other related field required
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, ChatGPT or other AI tools, and publishing software such as Adobe, Canva, etc.
- Prior experience in field of communications preferred.
- Possession of a valid Alabama Drivers License.
