Our client is a hugely successful company in an exciting industry sector looking for a commercial lawyer to join their dynamic in-house team. This position offers a variety of interesting and challenging legal work. There is the potential to progress and develop.Based in Middlesbrough, this would suit someone locally based. Due to the fast-moving nature of the work, employees will need to be in the office 4 – 5 days per week.The successful candidate will:

• Have a strength in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreement including, but not limited to sponsorship and partnership agreements, data agreements, supply agreements and IT contracts
• Be able to assist and help the department on a wide range of other legal matters
• Have worked in either a reputable law firm or successful in-house legal department.
• Have a commercial / business outlook to their work
• Be between 2 – 4 years PQE, although would consider a strong newly qualified solicitor

• Legal professionals – FILEX, MILEX, ILEX, Licenced Conveyancers, paralegals, legal assistants and fee earners
• Support services – practice managers, COLP / COFA – regulatory and compliance, office managers, IT developers, case management specialists, law costs draftsmen and negotiators, legal secretaries, legal cashiers
