In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters representing top tier clients. You will work directly with partners and your work will be high quality, interesting and challenging.The role will involve a broad range of responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
- Advising clients in relation to the purchase, financing, disposal and leasing of various types of commercial property including industrial, land and offices and residential property;
- Drafting, reviewing and amending commercial leases, deeds of surrender, deeds of variation, side letters and license agreements;
- Experience in real estate finance;
- Other ad-hoc property related work as required.
The PersonWe are seeking a suitably qualified commercial property lawyer who can demonstrate all or some of the following:
- Comfortable with all stages of property transactions;
- Exposure to related security documentation;
- Property banking/ finance experience would be an advantage;
- Strong academic credentials;
- Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills;
- A high level of commercial and business awareness;
- A calm and measured approach to problem solving;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent communication skills; and
- A proven track record in managing competing priorities and deadlines.
