Your determination to deliver quality and accuracy will improve health outcomes that people and communities depend on – now and in the future.We are currently looking to hire a Commercial Optimization LeadDirector/Sr. Director (Portfolio Optimization Sr/Director):Summarized Purpose: Partners and collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish, translate, and optimize the selling narrative, win strategy, and approach throughout the sales life cycle. Ensures alignment, communication, and output that meets the business development needs for the client.Major Responsibilities:– Liaises with bid defense teams to establish selling narrative, win strategy and ensure communication and collaboration in line with business development needs
– Collaborates with BD and leads bid defense meeting preps in-house and onsite on assigned opportunities, including support with slide creation, strategy alignment
– Supports the BDM functional service area lead with training and mentoring on how to deliver key message & presentation skills
– Leverage SMEs for thoughtleadership & client engagement during BDM, as necessary
– Collaborates with business development, cross-functional proposal development teams, and therapeutic areas (TAs) across business units to develop tailored solutions for clients (new and existing) across all business units within PPD
– Supports analysis of territory portfolio alignment planning for new and existing clients within regional portfolio to increase market opportunities in support of business development goals and targets
– As needed, meets with clients in support of business development to better articulate the strategy from an operational perspective in order to gain client buy-in
– Develops and presents materials that articulate strategic models to internal & external stakeholders as required
– Assists in the enhancement of processes and tools to track and / or analyze account performance and territory / customer segmentation performance.Support functions:– Liaise with marketing to provide the required support to strengthen the BDM strategy and impact via client specific campaign and/or graphic design support
– Supports the regional portfolio operations, alignment and strategy.
– Helps to develop and implement various commercial and operational initiatives that improve the monitoring, management, and successful strategies of commercial accounts.
– Assists and helps lead in the development of reporting tools and capabilities that drive operational strategy and commercial success.Qualifications:Education and Experience:– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification– Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 15+ years).In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:– Experience in acting as a bridge between the Commercial and Operational teams, to ensure that the client’s needs are addressed while maintaining the integrity of our operational delivery.
– Highly qualified resource that brings operational & commercial excellence.
– Proven leader.
– Solid experience leading/attending Bid Defense Meetings/high-profile meetings.
– Excellent collaborator.
– Deep understanding of how CRG works preferred or willingness to learn (systems, tools, people, service areas) could be considered
– Knowledge of how to leverage cross business unit collaboration under the TFS umbrella of companies
– Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
– Excellent soft skills & feedback delivery.
