We are hiring immediately for the position of Commercial Manager – a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.The purpose of this position is to drive, lead and assist with the development, negotiation and contractual close of power purchase agreements and associated energy related agreements for the Aggreko Energy Solutions business.

What you’ll do:
Manage, assist and lead the development of power purchase agreements and other ancillary energy agreements (including term sheets, development agreements, early works agreements, leases/licenses) with customers.
Manage, assist and lead commercial negotiations with customers to the point of contractual close.
Undertake drafting of term sheets and contractual clauses and principles.
Identify and develop risk management and mitigation strategies.
Undertake reviews of contracts from customers during tender processes to identify key risks and issues and develop contractual positions.
Assist the bid team with providing commercial/contractual input.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to assist with the development of contractual positions and implement those contractual positions into revenue agreements.
Achieve contractual close of agreements, including receiving appropriate signoffs from key internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with Aggreko’s established commercial and contractual risk positions and policies.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
A candidate with a minimum of 5 years PQE gained from a mid or top tier law firm.
Energy or projects experience is highly regarded, including experience with power purchase agreements and other energy agreement.
Ability to drive and lead negotiations with customers and agree commercial terms to the point of contract execution.
Ability to understand, manage and mitigate risks for Aggreko and develop risk mitigation strategies and solutions.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to develop bespoke solutions to commercial and contractual issues and risks.
Ability to liaise with internal stakeholders to procure key inputs and information and translate that into contractual and commercial positions.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
