A fantastic opportunity to work as a Commercial Finance Business Partner has come up at an industry leading transport company. Based out of Central London (hybrid) this role is a new position to join the commercial finance team working on new bids and exiting bids analysis.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the commercial team structuring bids and tenders for upcoming projects
- Support with the definition of the financial strategy of one of the key business areas
- Provide support with delivering the required elements of Pre-Selection Questionnaires, Expressions of Interest and Requests for Proposals
- Analyse the Business-as-Usual case for the target operation
- Identify risks and opportunities for the target operation
- Contribute to the robustness of the bid plan by providing financial advice
- Assist in the identification and exploitation of financial opportunities
- Prepare timely and accurate financial and commercial information to develop the bid price
- Develop business cases and provide insight and challenge to bid-winning initiatives
- Author and review bid documents ensuring that the content is compelling and accurate
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the finance bidding process
Experience/Skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities – Essential
- Fully CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified – Essential
- Experience of providing meaningful insight to impact strategic decision making – Essential
