Job description

eirevo talent are seeking applications for a Cloud Network Security Architect, this is a day rate contract for our client in Dublin.Your Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the network security architecture
• Develop and implement secure and resilient cloud network designs that enable the business to migrate workloads to the cloud (AWS)
• Design and deploy secure cloud connectivity and integration solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with the relevant 3rd parties that support this function
• Ensure a firm understanding of the risk landscape across the in scope technologies
• Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively and work collaboratively

Requirements:

• Detailed knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of resilient cloud on-ramp solutions
• Ability to optimize cloud connectivity and network infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable performance
• Strong understanding of cloud and network security architecture, particularly in regulated environment
• In-depth experience with cloud-based networking components such as virtual private networks (VPNs), transit gateways, VPCs, Route53 and cloud firewalls
• Strong experience in the delivery of enterprise class network security solutions
• In-depth knowledge of Zero-Trust Architecture and applying those design principles in cloud
• Good understanding and awareness of the banking and payments regulatory environment, IT and security controls, PSD2/PSD3, DORA, PCI-DSS is desirable
• 5-7+ years’ experience in architecture and design of the in-scope cloud and network security technologies
• AWS, Cloud Security Alliance or other relevant certification
