About the Role: 

We are looking for a Clinical Sales Associate to join our Peripheral team. In this role, you will focus on existing and new interventional & surgical products in all FDA approved areas and applications. Gore Medical Products has provided creative therapeutic solutions to complex medical problems for over 49 years, saving and improving the quality of lives worldwide. We are a leading manufacturer of peripheral interventional, peripheral surgical vascular, endovascular and structural heart products. This role will focus on product launch execution, as well as clinical and educational support.

This role will cover the Eastern United States; the candidate must reside in Raleigh, North Carolina or surrounding areas.

This is a remote position and field based, and you can work from your home in most locations in Raleigh, North Carolina or surrounding areas. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work effectively and cooperatively as part of a team across regions
  • Travel to accounts to support both clinical and educational needs
  • Provide product launch support (product in-service, clinical trial support, education, and awareness)
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders: Patient advocate for Dialysis Unit, overflow case coverage, simulation training, case planning support
  • Provide emergent team support: clinical support as well as inventory delivery-can arise “after hours”
  • Provide superior customer service and support
  • Comply with internal and external proper practices and procedures

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience selling and or clinically supporting medical devices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, which include a demonstrated ability to be a team player
  • Demonstrated technical selling skills, including the capacity to quickly learn new products as well as new markets
  • Strong clinical & technical skills including the ability to understand interventional procedures and terminology
  • Demonstrated effective organizational management and planning skills
  • Patient and care centric
  • Effective time management
  • Current, valid driver’s license
  • Ability to perform the responsibilities of this role at our customer locations, which includes meeting vendor credentialing and hospital access requirements for healthcare professionals, relative to immunizations (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines)
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 75% and must reside in Raleigh, North Carolina or surrounding areas

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Preferred Surgical Vascular, Endovascular, Interventional Cardiology or Interventional radiology experience – selling or clinically supporting wire and catheter-based products
  • Preferred prior experience developing relationships and supporting clinicians and doctors within vascular, endovascular, interventional cardiology, and interventional radiology disciplines
  • Professional business acumen

This role requires ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and compliance with facility-specific access policies (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines), vendor credentialing requirements including drug screening, background checks, immunization and training.

Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. For fully remote roles, the following locations are not eligible for new fully remote work arrangements: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
