We recognise our staff through leading technology that allows not only ecoSense but our clients to provide instant recognition for your hard work, and at the same time, we plant one tree in your name that you can view online.ecoSense dedication to providing our staff with the ultimate employment within the cleaning sector will allow you to relax knowing that you are part of the growing ecoSense family. #togetherWEshine™We have a vacancy in an amazing work environment with a friendly team.Area ManagerResponsible to: Operations ManagerCompetitive Salary + OvertimeCompany Van, Company Mobile Phone & I padHours of work: Full time; min. 40 hours per week – permanent positionTimes of Work: Flexible in accordance with needs of the jobStart date: ImmediateArea: Manchester and Surrounding AreasPurpose:– Oversee, manage and operate a portfolio of the company’s contracts across London and the South East– Maintain and develop relationships with clients through regular meetings and inspections– Manage cleaning personnelKey Responsibilities:Respond promptly to all e-mails and calls from clientsArrange regular meetings with clientsReview cleaning standards through regular inspectionsArrange one-off cleans and deep cleans with clients and check if they were satisfied afterwardsProactively visit sites during the cleaning shift spot checking for cleaning standards, staff attendance, uniform, etc.Ensure cleaning personnel are completing their duties and that Health and Safety is being followed on siteLiaise with Managers and Supervisors on a daily basis and build strong relationships with colleagues, supervisors and cleaning team membersBe involved in the selection, and training of new cleaning team membersMonitor equipment, uniform and stock levelsCandidate– Previous cleaning management experience is required– Effective written and oral communication– Excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skills– Able to effectively manage cleaning and supervisory staff– IT literate– Ability to prioritise– High levels of attention to detail– A strong work ethic– Full UK driving licenceRequired licences· Driving LicenceJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSchedule:Monday to FridayLicence/Certification:driving license (required)BENEFITS:flexePAY – Request pay early*Free CPD Supervisor TrainingOvertime AvailableMonthly Awards throughout the Company with Retail VouchersContinued Learning and DevelopmentCompany progression and promotion opportunitiesFull Staff Wellness Suite*terms apply
