Are you looking to progress within your career through receiving professional training and a chance to expand & manage your own office?Then look no further as my well-respected and well-established client is looking out for an enthusiastic and motivated Civil Engineer, with relevant experience within the drainage and infrastructure sectors, with preferrable experience within the residential sector.The successful candidate will get the chance to work on a diverse range of drainage and infrastructure projects within the large residential development, education, healthcare, aviation and historal sectors, to name a few of many.The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality drawings for diverse civil engineering projects (residential, commercial, industrial).
• Regularly liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and design team members.
• Organize and manage incoming/outgoing project documentation.
• Complete designs for external works, levels, drainage agreements (S104), and highways agreements (S38/S278).
• Attend site meetings for surveys, design team collaboration, and project updates.
• Produce drawing and model packages within defined project timelines.
• Develop proposals for residential, commercial, industrial, road, and drainage projects.

Successful candidate specifications:

• 3+ years post qualification experience in a similar role
• A full UK driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential
• Developing engineers’ sketches and design output towards full technical approval & construction drawing packages within the following categories; S104 Drainage Packages, S38 Highway Packages, S278 Highway Packages, etc.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues
• Desired but not necessary to have a good working knowledge of; Civils 3D, Site 3D, Microdrainage
• Carry out the modelling of vertical and horizontal road alignments and Foul and Surface water drainage systems to comply with Local Authority, Water Authority and LLFA requirements
• Be able to develop construction details, sections, etc
• Liaise with the Project Engineer and wider design team on issues requiring clarification or external input
• Engtech with the ICE (or willingness to work towards with full support)
