Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our Perth Community Development. Reporting to the Civil Group Leader, the Civil Designer will contribute to delivering innovative solutions in all facets of land, urban and subdivision projects in Perth and surrounding region. The role will suit an experienced 12D Designer who has worked on civil projects for Councils, Main Roads or private development.
The role
Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems as well as associated infrastructure)
Interpreting civil design requirements State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clients
Interfacing with associated disciplines such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping
Interacting with clients regarding project needs ensuring that expert and quality service is delivered
Collaborating with diverse teams nationally
About you
Demonstrated civil design/drafting experience within a consulting environment
Relevant qualifications
Demonstrated experience ideally using 12D or Civil 3D
Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
