How You’ll Shine

As Chef, you will responsible for preparing, producing and presenting superior quality food in a timely and professional manner as directed by the Executive Chef. You will also have the opportunity to assist our Executive Chef in menu creation. We are looking for individuals who are able to work dinner shifts.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage environment

  • Trade Qualified (Certificate III Commercial Cookery)

  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate

  • A current Food Safety Certificate

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Immaculate presentation and grooming standards

  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including early mornings, evenings and weekends

This is a hands-on position and require a strong and positive personality, a high degree of professional pride, and maximum energy and motivation. This is not a role for an ordinary hospitality staff… because this is not an ordinary hotel!

This team will not only have the personality to reflect the unique and vibrant feel of TRYP, but one that will have the drive to build the hotel from the ground up and deliver exceptional opening and then transition in creating the TRYP culture, of service with all the personal touches our hotel guests deserve.
