• Assist in the daily operation of the kitchen ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
• Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure that all food is prepared to company standards and served in a timely manner.
• Identify and resolve issues related to kitchen operations or food quality, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or relevant role in a professional kitchen.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts or related field.
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Experience

• Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurants is preferred.
• Knowledge of international cuisine is a plus.
• Prior experience managing a section of the kitchen is advantageous.
