You will be required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way.To find out more about NHS Ayrshire and Arran please visit our website –PositionAn opportunity has arisen for a various permanent Catering Assistants based at University Hospital Crosshouse, Kilmarnock.Hours:Post 113 hours per weekHours of duty 1700-2023 / no breakWorking pattern 7 days on/7 days offPost 212.10 hours per weekHours of duty 1700-2045 / no breakWorking pattern 7 days on / 7 days offPlease state on your application what post you are interested in.What you will do:You will work as part of the Catering Production & Services Team, assisting in all aspects of food preparation, delivery, service, wash-up cleaning duties relating to the provision of catering services to Patients, Staff, Visitors and for functions.For further information on the role please click the link below to view the job descriptionKnowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:You will be an organised person with kitchen management skills. Experience in large scale catering, preferably within NHS would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Good communication skills are essentialDesirable for current Food Hygiene Certificate, or essential to complete with the first 3 months of employment.
