Based in our Minto Streets factory, we are looking to hire C asual I ce C ream P ackers to join our family due to increased production requirements.
Packers assist the machine operators in packaging finished ice cream products on the production line.
We are operational 7 days a week, 24 hours a da y and w orking in 12-hour s hifts.
Day Shift – 6 :00 am until 6 :00 pm
Night Shift – 6 :00 pm until 6 :00 am
You will need to be available for the full shift either day or night (preferably both), for a minimum of 3 days per week. This is a casual position and work is offered on an on-call basis due to business needs. There is no guarantee of work each week.
The h ourly r ate is 32.71 (includes casual loading) + s hift l oadings for n ights or w eekend work.
Career development into a machine operator is available for the right candidate.
What is Involved
Package ice cream into boxes as they are processed from the production line
Operate machinery in line with company requirements to assist in the process, delivery, and making of ice cream or ice cream products
Conduct cleaning across your product line including daily cleaning and weekly deep cleans
Maintain machinery to the prescribed standards and levels of cleanliness
Ensure the optimal usage of the resources, minimising waste during production
You are responsible for the safe operation of the equipment focused on quality standards and efficiency
What we need
Ability to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift
Participate in pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing. Streets has a zero tolerance for drugs and does random drug testing
Have working rights to work within Australia
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
