Position: Case Manager
Contract: Fixed-term contract (1 year) with a possibility to extend to an indeterminate contract
Location: The Hague (the Netherlands) or Geneva (Switzerland)

About the position
The Case Manager will work closely with Civitas Maxima Legal team, under the direct supervision of CM Legal Counsels, and responsibility of the Director. The Case Manager will be in charge of the following tasks:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in reorganising CM’s server and put up to date any case management backlog;
- Manage, store and organise files in the server, including (but not limited to) working on folders’ structure, renaming documents, and converting files into other formats;
- Create, organise and update excel tables to be used as databases for witnesses, statements, and other evidentiary material;
- Systematise the storing, archiving and organisation of documents in the server;
- Analyse and synthetise witness statements and other evidentiary material;
- Enter documents, data, and metadata in Lexis Nexis Case Map software; and
- Perform any other tasks as instructed by line manager.

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in law, or similar.
- Work experience:
- At least 2 years of experience as a case manager or with document management/archiving systems;
- Working experience in international criminal tribunals is an asset.
- Languages:
- Fluent in English;
- Working knowledge of French is an asset.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational, analysis and synthetising skills;
- High degree of flexibility, autonomy and adaptability;
- Excellent ability to work with computers (windows OS) and Excel proficiency;
- Knowledge and experience of Lexis Nexis Case Map software;
- Ability to work independently; and
- High motivation and demonstrated interest in international justice.
- Mandatory: Authorization to work in the Netherlands or Switzerland.
