The Role

As part of the team, you will:

  • Administration of insurance and claims activities for captives under management.
  • Review premium and claims data/reports, maintain/update premium tracker.
  • Review annual premium allocation models by country by client where required.
  • Prepare for review certificates of cover and endorsements as required.
  • Provide accurate and timely underwriting information for preparation of Management Accounts and Financial Statements.
  • Monitor captive adherence to EU general good requirements and ensure IPT is properly settled.
  • Client Relations – liaising with clients as required including out of office entertaining.
  • Board Meetings – co-ordinating board meetings, including the production and issuance of board papers for same, logistics for attendees.
  • Corporate Governance & Compliance – ensuring WTW procedures are followed at all times.

The Requirements

  • Preferably holds Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) qualification or working towards same.
  • Previous experience in underwriting support or administrative roles within the insurance industry.
  • Understanding of Central Bank of Ireland regulations under which the Insurance and Reinsurance Captives operate.
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail & Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Good problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • All-Inclusive interpersonal and communication skills.
