Amazon’s Retail team is looking for an Amazon Business – Business Manager. This role will be part of our AB launching team with the opportunity to be part of the initial team that build the business from the ground up. As an AB Business Manager, you will be a passionate business customer and selection advocate within Amazon; possess strong negotiation and analytical skills, together with proven commercial knowledge and experience. This role requires a strategic leader with program management and vendor management that can work with existing B2C category teams to include the AB pitch to bring B2B relevant selection. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for B2B and a high level of flexibility and commitment.
To excel in this role, you will leverage:
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to earn trust and influence as well as to hold stakeholders, often more senior than you, accountable for high standards
• Learning-based problem-solving: breaking down issues into work streams, working backwards from key deadlines
• Advanced program management skills, with a strong sense of accountability for outcomes
• Advanced analytical skills – deep diving to identify Selection opportunities for B2B
• Comfort managing a wide variety of projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment
• Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and operate with limited guidance
• Strong commercial and people judgment
• Analytical ability to think both strategically and tactically.

Basic Qualifications
-
4+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience

Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience

Experience with pricing and selection strategy
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
-
Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
-
3+ years of with Excel experience
