Job DescriptionPosition OverviewWe have an exciting new job opportunity at our location in Brussels (Belgium) and are looking to hire a business intelligence (BI) manager as part of our data & analytics team.As the business intelligence manager for Belgium & Luxemburg, your role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining a robust data ecosystem and in empowering stakeholders to make informed business decisions.Your primary responsibilities will encompass the definition of a strategy for our BI environment, the coordination of different BI related deliverables/projects and the end-to-end development/modification of Qlik applications.You will report to and work in close collaboration with the data & analytics lead and you will be part of a team of 5 talented data experts. The team generates, analyzes, models, and visualizes data, with the aim to deliver actionable insights, enable data-informed decision making, and promote a data driven culture.Key Result Areas & TasksThe Primary Activities May Include

• Define a vision and a strategy for the BI ecosystem
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their business needs, and define data requirements.
• Prioritize BI related projects backlog.
• Coordinate and follow-up on BI related deliveries with colleagues from the data team.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions accordingly.
• Design and create data models that represent the structure and relationships within the data, following defined best practices. These models shall serve as the foundation for reporting and analysis.
• Create visualizations to present data in a meaningful and accessible way for business users.
• Build reports and interactive dashboards that allow users to explore data, analyze trends, and make informed decisions.
• Ensure our stakeholders are up to date with our solutions with trainings and documentation
• Employ SQL queries to retrieve data from various sources. Automate data flows where possible .
• Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy, by performing checks to identify and rectify any inconsistencies or errors.
• Collect, transform, and load data into the BI system.
• Perform ETL activities to ensure data is prepared and structured appropriately for analysis.

Experience & CompetenciesIdeal Experience, Skillset & Competencies

• Strong academic record in a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of prior work experience in similar roles.
• Proficient English knowledge, both written and spoken.
• Strong hands-on experience with visualization tools (Qlik Sense or/and Power BI).
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL, ETL.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to quickly develop effective trust-based relationships, working closely with cross functional stakeholders across the business.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a globally dispersed team.

It would be great if you haveStrong knowledge of Qlik technologies including Qlik Sense

• Familiarity with key digital and marketing tools, such as

• Veeva CRM,
• Google Analytics or other web tracking technologies,
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
• API
