We currently have a vacancy for a Business Intelligence Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks:

• Design and develop Power BI interactive dashboards and reports, as well as their evolution and maintenance;
• Gather requirements from business and statistical units policy / business / statistical units for business intelligence;
• Develop and maintain Python and SQL scripts;
• Write documentation related to the definition of KPIs/metrics;
• Design and implement ETL processes;
• Perform data modelling;
• Design data quality monitoring processes.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 2 years’ of professional experience in designing, implementing, maintaining and optimizing reports, using Power BI;
• Minimum 2 years’ of professional experience in designing and implementing data analytics processes using Knime or similar tools;
• Very good knowledge of data processing analysis;
• Very good knowledge of ETL design processes (e.g.: star schema);
• Very good knowledge of data modelling techniques;
• Good knowledge of other BI reporting tools, such as Apache Superset;
• Good knowledge of both RDMS and non-relational database Mongo DB;
• Good knowledge of scripting in Python;
• Knowledge of a data analytics platform such as DataBricks would be a plus;
• Knowledge of Machine Learning technologies would be a plus;
• Excellent command of the English language.
