My client, a FTSE250 organisation are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver a large business integration programme globally.The ideal candidate will will ensure that the project maintains best practice project management control and processes. This includes maintaining the integrated project plan, managing dependencies, risk and issues across the workstreams. The incumbent is responsible for, producing reporting and managing governance and change control processes.Key responsibilities
- Maintain overall integrated project plan spanning multiple workstreams
- Track the project plan highlighting to the programme manager any risks to the plan so that interventions can happen immediately
- Manage interdependencies and risk and facilitate and issues review at programme level, ensuring risk and issues are followed up on and mitigations identified.
- Lead resource planning across the project to ensure this is done proactively and effectively, to ensure project is sufficiently resourced to progress at pace
- Ensure project controls; plan, decision log, risk management and change control are in place and maintained for each workstream.
- Ensure best practice governance is being adhered to
- Produce overall view of project progress for Steering Committee
- Coach workstreams where required in good project management practice to ensure overall robust project management execution across the programme

The role is to start mid January and will be a 6 month contract that could extend beyond. The role is INSIDE IR35 and will be 1-2 days per week in the office either in London or Northants with the role moving more remote as the project progresses.
