Leading logistics provider with extensive brand recognition within the Irish market now seeks to hire an Air Export Business Development Manager with expertise within the pharmaceutical vertical. The role is available due to continued expansion and growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the current sales team who are mainly developing the transport and logistics business.Key Responsibilities:

  • To seek out and develop customers for their Airfreight service offering to the pharmaceutical vertical.
  • Win, retain and develop profitable clients
  • To call on existing accounts to ensure that business with existing customers is maximised. (The initial focus on this role is however new business)
  • To partake in RFQ process for national and international business.
  • To lead and create tender responses
  • To be aware of and report on any competitive activity
  • To maintain accurate sales information records
  • To report regularly on weekly sales activity and business developments
  • To provide a service to the designated area in the most cost effective manner possible.
  • To enhance company image and profile
  • To meet all relevant sales targets assigned by the Sales Director.
  • To partake in department meetings
  • To liase with Sales Coordinator and Operations Team
  • To lead and create sales presentations as and when required.

Minimum requirements:

  • Proven experience selling profitable Airfreight solutions within the Irish market with expertise within the pharmaceutical vertical.
  • Excellent Committed Customer Service Skills
  • Target Driven and passionate
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Tender documentation and administration experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with customers and staff
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Proven commercial-negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as team player
  • Contributes continuous improvement and innovative suggestions
  • Capable of maintaining performance in a pressured environment
  • Flexible, confident, positive, persuasive, honest, reliable,
  • Methodical, well organized.
  • Full clean drivers licence
