We have an exciting contract opportunity within the central Business Development (BD) team, working on chocolate and candy categories.

You will be working closely with Marketing, the site BD teams, Engineering and R&D to develop the longer term business plans ensuring the right capacity and capability are ready in the sites to execute and deliver growth.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Work with commercial to maintain a 5+ year volume plan by segment

  • Lead discussions with sites to work on corresponding actions to deliver commercial growth plans (e.g. capacity and capability additions)

  • Support the creation of business cases required to deliver capability and capacity to sites

  • Drive best practice ways of working across confectionery Sites

  • Represent Manufacturing Supply Chain perspectives in project meetings and support on project delivery

  • Excellent project planning and proactiveness in identifying risks and mitigations and managing strict timelines

  • Proven ability in building effective teams across internal and external partners

  • Knowledge of relevant business processes and related technology solutions

  • Strong conceptual and analytic skills – enjoys problem solving

  • Excellent commercial acumen

6 month contract opportunity

Education / Certifications:

  • 5+ years of business experience preferred

  • Preferably in food manufacturing or a fast paced working environment

Travel requirements:

  • Travel to each of the confectionery sites (Ringwood, Claremont, Scoresby)

  • Face to face in Dorcas street regularly, to drive commercial relationships
