The HT Group is looking for a Business Development Manager – GCP/Google Workspace for a client based in Houston, Texas. This is a remote position, though candidates must be willing to attend networking events and travel to Houston periodically. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud solutions, excellent sales abilities, and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Location: Remote (must be based in Austin, Houston, Atlanta, or Miami)

Travel: Occasional travel to Houston HQ

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies for GCP and Google Workspace solutions
  • Providing solutions including cloud services, migrations, infrastructure, and professional and management services
  • Prospect new opportunities through cold calling, emails, and networking (500 emails/200 calls per week)
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking events
  • Build relationships with potential business opportunities, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals and presentations
  • Stay updated on industry trends, GCP/Google Workspace advancements, and competitor offerings

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales/business development (cloud/SaaS preferred)
  • Must have full knowledge of GCP and Google Workspace solutions
  • Proven success in high-volume prospecting (email/cold calling)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (Outreach.io a plus)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Team-oriented, self-driven, and passionate about technology

  • Focus on new business development; Account Managers handle post-sale
