Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the business development and marketing elements of the Corporate and M&A Department business plan.
• Raise the profile of the Corporate and M&A Department, in collaboration with the firm’s marketing team and legal professionals.
• Manage departmental rankings and oversee submissions to legal directories.
• Support new client initiatives and prepare responses to requests for proposals or information.
• Conduct extensive internal and external research to maintain a deep understanding of the corporate legal market.
• Lead the review and continuous improvement of the Department’s suite of marketing materials.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a marketing or business development role within a professional services firm.
• Proven experience leading business development and marketing for a practice group or service line.
• Capability to work with partners/senior executives.
• Previous experience in a managerial role is essential.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Advanced understanding of strategic marketing and communications.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
