As a Business Development Manager, you will take the lead in expanding our feed enzymes business in collaboration with specialized distributors and end users in Asia and the Middle East. You’ll be the key point of contact, offering support on technical projects while driving growth in this rapidly evolving market. Through a tailored training program, you’ll quickly become an expert in our feed activities, ensuring success from day one.
- Serve as an ambassador for the company, inspiring partners to promote our feed additives.
- Conduct strategic market analyses, set sales targets, and manage budgets for your region.
- Deliver technical training and provide distributors with essential materials and support.
- Offer pricing advice and technical expertise while traveling internationally.
- Collaborate on product development, staying attuned to market trends and opportunities.
- Guide local partners through registration processes and manage export documentation.
- Participate in research initiatives, partnering with research centers, universities, and local teams.
Candidate Profile:
- You hold a PhD in bio-engineering, bio-industry, veterinary science, or have equivalent experience.
- With at least 5 years of experience in animal nutrition (monogastrics; experience with ruminants and aquaculture is a plus), you’re comfortable designing and analyzing animal trials.
- You have a hands-on approach, a proactive attitude, and excellent presentation skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Asian languages or Arabic is a plus.
- You’re based in Belgium and open to international travel up to 30% of the time.
