Company DescriptionBoxfish are a utility and sustainability consultancy, based in Glasgow but supporting clients throughout the whole of the UK from our regional office network. We’re committed to delivering a more sustainable and prosperous future through ongoing management of our clients utility accounts and a range of energy, water and carbon related projects. We’ve seen our business double in size over 2023 but we’re not stopping our expansion there.Role DescriptionWe’re on the look out for a full-time Business Development Manager, ideally located in the NW of England but we are flexible. The isn’t a cold calling, call center position so the candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities across our two divisions (Operation and Projects), managing existing and building new long-term client relationships, and collaborating with our account management and technical teams to ensure quality and client satisfaction.Our teams are fully hybrid working, but we would expect this role to be a mix of some working from home, some from the office and some time on site (with the occasional overnight).Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing client relationships
  • An existing client network of upper tier SME and corporate organisations would be advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software, is a must.
  • Knowledge of the latest sales and marketing techniques
  • Experience in the consulting industry, specifically in business development, is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Clean driving license

  • A base salary of between £40k and £50k
  • After completion of the probation period, a four day working week for five days salary
