We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation to find a skilled Business Data Analyst to join their growing Business Intelligence & Data Services team.About the Role:This role is crucial in bridging the gap between business needs and data solutions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and BI developers to ensure high-quality data-driven insights and reporting.Key Responsibilities:✔ Understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data insights.
✔ Support BI reporting and dashboard development (Power BI, IBM Cognos, Tableau, Excel).
✔ Collaborate with technical teams to develop and enhance data solutions.
✔ Ensure data integrity and accuracy through analysis and testing.
✔ Maintain key documentation, including business glossaries and report catalogues.
✔ Identify process improvements and efficiencies within data services.What We’re Looking For:🔹 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
🔹 Experience with BI tools (IBM Cognos, Power BI, Tableau or similar).
🔹 Proficiency in Excel (advanced level) and Microsoft Office Suite.
🔹 Knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modelling.
🔹 Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
