We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated Brand Marketer to join the passionate Nestlé Health Science (NHS) team. As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for leading our market leading weight loss brand, OPTIFAST VLCD, for both the Australia and New Zealand market. OPTIFAST VLCD has over 40 years’ experience across the globe, with over 80 publications and clinical studies proving its efficacy and safety. The OPTIFAST team passionately aspires to help people unlock their inner strength to reclaim health and vitality.

A day in the life…

In this diverse and exciting role, a day in the life as our OPTIFAST VLCD Brand Manager will look like:

• Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies and marketing plans for OPTIFAST in alignment with the regional and global marketing objectives

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to drive brand positioning and differentiation

• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising and social media, to drive brand awareness and engagement for both consumers and healthcare professionals

• Manage relationships with local agencies and collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, medical affairs, and regulatory to ensure effective execution of marketing plans and initiatives.

• Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics, market share, and sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

• Manage the brand budget effectively, ensuring optimum allocation of resources to maximise ROI

• Drive and deliver new product innovations – from ideation through to commercialisation

What will make you successful

• We are looking for someone who is dynamic, pragmatic, a team player and is results focused.

• You will have proven brand management experience ideally within HealthCare/Pharmaceutical (OTC) categories/ brands.

• You will have Innovation leadership experience – experience in new product development including concept creation, new product development and commercialisation into market.

• Tertiary qualified in marketing preferred and have demonstrable commercial and financial acumen.

• You will have digital and social media marketing knowledge and experiences.

• Strong communication and relationship building skills needed to engage effectively with multiple global and internal stakeholders and third-party providers across Australia & New Zealand.
