Our client in the Automotive industry is currently looking for a BMW Service Managed, in Offaly, Ireland.Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the BMW service department, including service advisors, certified BMW technicians, and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, aligned with BMW’s commitment to excellence.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops on BMW diagnostic tools, systems, and procedures.
  • Organize team meetings and performance evaluations to promote continuous growth and development.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by upholding BMW’s premium service standards.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction beyond expectations.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the overall BMW customer experience.
  • Oversee daily operations of the BMW service department to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to align with dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Collaborate with sales and parts departments to optimize dealership performance.
  • Implement and maintain strict quality control processes for accurate diagnostics and effective repairs of BMW vehicles.
  • Ensure all operations comply with BMW AG standards, warranty policies, and dealership protocols.
  • Stay updated on the latest BMW technical advancements and integrate them into service processes.
  • Develop and manage the service department budget to achieve financial objectives and maintain profitability.
  • Analyse financial reports to identify trends, implement cost-saving measures, and maximize revenue.
  • Oversee parts and inventory management to ensure the availability of BMW-approved parts and tools.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers for competitive pricing and reliable stock levels.
  • Work closely with other dealership departments to streamline processes and improve overall operations.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in service delivery, adhering to BMW’s reputation for precision and excellence.

Requirements:

  • A qualification/training in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience in the Automotive.
  • BMW STEP (Service Technician Education Program)
  • Training in diagnostics, maintenance, and BMW proprietary systems.
  • Red Seal Certification:
  • Courses in dealership operations, customer service, and team leadership.
  • ASE Master Technician certification or equivalent, focusing on BMW vehicles. (Is a bonus)
  • Expertise in BMW diagnostic software, service standards, and advanced vehicle systems, including hybrids and EVs.

Remuneration:

  • Up to 65 000 Euros per annum.
  • Family permit & VISA.
  • Personal Flight to Ireland.
