The goal is to unlock the full potential in each colleague – empowering our people to grow as insurance professionals and add more value to our customers and AIG.How you will create an impactIn this role you will provide support and assistance to the Excess of Loss subject matter expert and the Package and Combined Underwriter.

  • Supporting the Technical Underwriters on more complex and/or non-standard cases within agreed authority.
  • Develop and maintain productive external and internal relationships.
  • Ensure product and system knowledge is maintained and ensure systems are updated in a timely manner.
  • Recognise and convert opportunities to introduce other AIG products to existing customers.
  • Training and Developing New and Existing staff.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Awareness of the impact of regulation and FCA (Financial Conduct Authority).
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to network and build relationships.
  • Proven ability to work within a team framework and to support the team manager as required.
  • Competent IT levels – Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
