This role is perfect for someone looking to advance their hospitality career, manage a talented team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.Role Overview:As a Bar Manager , you’ll oversee all aspects of bar operations, ensuring smooth service, high standards of customer satisfaction, and effective team management. Your responsibilities will include managing stock, leading the bar team, maintaining hygiene standards, and implementing strategies to boost revenue. This role is ideal for an individual with strong leadership skills who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about the hospitality industry.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high-quality service and guest satisfaction
- Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and maintain accurate inventory records
- Develop creative drink menus in collaboration with the team, ensuring consistency and innovation in offerings
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized bar
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Manage budgets, control costs, and work towards revenue goals by implementing sales strategies
- Coordinate with other departments, such as kitchen and front-of-house, to ensure seamless service
- Plan and execute promotional events to drive footfall and boost sales
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a bar management role is essential
- Strong knowledge of drink preparation, bar operations, and inventory management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, especially under pressure
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets and managing budgets
- A passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
