Azure DevOps Engineer5 monthsReading – 1 day onsite per week£570 – £670 per day inside IR35We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our client’s agile team. You will help drive continuous improvement and automation in our internal business products, which range from procurement systems to health and safety solutions. The ideal candidate will focus on delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions on the Azure platform.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, ensuring smooth CI/CD processes for Angular and NodeJS applications.
• Automate builds, tests, and deployments, optimizing system performance and minimising downtime.
• Collaborate with development teams to refine requirements and integrate new features into our Azure-based solutions.
• Oversee code quality and security by implementing industry-standard best practices for DevOps and software development.
• Ensure thorough testing, including integration with tools such as Azure Test Plans.
• Maintain and update infrastructure as code (IaC) using YAML and other automation scripts.
• Produce and maintain DevOps-related documentation and procedures.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps tools, including CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and SCRUM board management.
• Proficiency with Azure Platform Technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Blob storage, Azure Key Vault
• Good understanding of agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
• Experience in microservices architecture and highly integrated development environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Bonus Skills: Knowledge of Selenium, Azure App Gateway, or ETL tooling is a plus but not essential.

Expected salary

£550 – 670 per day
