Roles & Responsibilities:

The Automation Project Manager and Technical Lead will be responsible for providing technical and automation consulting services to our clients in the life sciences sector. You will be a key member of our team, working with clients to develop and implement automation solutions that meet their needs. This individual will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to the automation team, planning and executing automation tasks, and ensuring the successful integration of automation into the organization’s deliveries.

As an Automation Project Manager and Technical Lead the following are expected to form the overall job description:

• Work with clients to understand their automation needs and develop and implement and manage automation solutions.
• Analyze existing processes and systems and identify opportunities for automation.
• Design, develop and implement custom automation solutions and project schedules.
• Lead technical projects, coordinating the work of the development team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Research and stay abreast of new automation technologies and trends.
• Provide technical support and training to end users.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science or Bio-Process Engineering, or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years relevant automation life science manufacturing experience

Salary

The annual salary for this position is $88K-155K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
