An established accounting practice based in Dublin that provide a range of services including audit, accountancy, tax, and advisory are looking to recruit an Audit senior as part of their growing team. The role involves working closely with the Assurance team’s partners on a wide range of fascinating and varied clientele that operate in the manufacturing, transportation, construction, distribution, and logistics industries on the preparation, fieldwork, and completion of every facet of the audit engagement
Responsibilities include:
- Work with the audit team to plan the audit, including staffing and deadlines
- attend client audit planning meetings
- prepare financial statements and present excellent work papers
- assign tasks to the audit team and provide on-the-job training
- finish audit files and assignments
- give trainees performance feedback at the end of the engagement
- apply analytic thinking and professionalism
Job Requirements:
- ACCA, ACA, or CPA qualification;
- Experience in auditing and recent qualification (0-2 years PQE);
- Presently employed in a practice setting.
- Strong technical experience;
- Ability to mentor and teach others;
- Excellent analytic and planning skills;
- Strong dedication to professional and client service excellence
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
- exceptional people skills and ease dealing with clients;
- solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS;
- familiarity with CaseWare would be advantageous.
