With approximately 2,200 employees globally, Inizio Medical creates compelling content and engages communities to achieve outcomes that matter.We’re looking for an Associate Principal Medical Writer to help lead one of our outstanding teams communicating groundbreaking research in Oncology, Neurology and rare Liver disease. This role would suit an experienced writer with reviewing experience who is looking for the opportunity to lead a small team, ensuring the quality of our work and maximising our business, in partnership with our client Services lead. This role stands out due to the strategic partnership with our clients and the cutting-edge nature of the work. It will provide a great career development opportunity for you.As an Associate Principal Medical Writer, you will develop scientific expertise in assigned therapeutic areas, supporting delivery for a versatile team that includes creative, digital, client services, medical analytics, editorial, and health economics outcome research. Core deliverable tasks include researching and developing technical materials, ensuring that all outputs follow written brief, are accurate in content and editorial style and can be referenced. You will also communicate with clients and key opinion leaders on content development and attend scientific meetings.To succeed you will have:

  • Previous experience working in a Medical Writing role, within a medical communications agency environment.
  • An academic background in the life sciences.
  • Experience writing across a broad range of scientific deliverables e.g. publications, training materials, slide sets, interactive content, conference booths, competitive intelligence, for a variety of medical audiences.
  • Reviewing experience

You will report to and work closely with the senior leadership team and be central to identifying new business opportunities and contributing to proposals and pitches.
