Job DescriptionThe Associate Director, US Payer Marketing/ Oncology Market Access – Alliances will work closely with cross functional teams, alliance partners, agency partners, internal brand colleagues, promotions, internal communications, pricing, policy, legal, health economics outcomes research, and Organized Customer Access and Reimbursement teams to inform the strategies to support the alliances, including current indications and launching future monotherapy and combination indications for oral and infused medicines. This role will report to the Director, Oncology Market Access – Orals & AlliancesThe Associate Director, US Payer Marketing/ Oncology Market Access will be responsible for supporting Brand products tactical execution and development of strategy in support of oncology medicines, including collaborations with outside pharmaceutical partners in oncology and critical internal functions (Organized Customer Access and Reimbursement, Marketing, Integrated Account Management Teams, Center for Observational and Real-world Evidence (CORE), Medical Affairs, etc.). This role will focus on collaborating with brand teams, internal and partner alliance market access and related functions, agency partners and focus on customer segments (e.g. health plans, Medicare, Medicaid, federal, pharmacy, hospital, GPO, etc.).Primary ResponsibilitiesWork closely with alliance partners, our Company’s internal functions (promotions, communications, medical affairs, brand marketing, etc.) and external agency partners to develop customer specific strategies and execute as appropriate to achieve access for patients and achieve business growth.Collaborate with internal teams and alliance partners to support development of comprehensive payer/ market access strategies and execute across the partnership and for oncology medicines. This is related to current and future indications and must be aligned to the brand marketing objectives.Input into development and execution of payer value propositions, channel specific strategies and branded promotional initiatives.Act as main point responsible and accountable for resource support, on-going planning around messaging, and communications for field facing teams at our Company (e.g. Oncology Sales Teams, Key Accounts, etc.)Provide input from US perspective into Global Access Teams, new product planning teams, Health Economics and Outcomes Research and business development opportunities as they emerge.Work cross-functionally within our Company, including Organized Customer Access and Reimbursement, Market Research, policy team, Global Market Access, Health Economics and Outcomes Research , compliance, legal, pricing and others to understand build a value proposition for collaboration oncology medicines that allow for access and reimbursement that is consistent with label.Support alliance forecasting discussions as necessaryUnderstand impact of costs on patient including OOP associated with mono and combo therapies, within both pharmacy and medical benefits.Main point for resource support, on-going planning around messaging, and communications for field facing teams at our Company (e.g. Oncology Sales Teams, Key Accounts, etc.Education Minimum RequirementsRequired: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA)Required Experience and SkillsMinimum of (5) years combined experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing, Marketing Customer Management, Managed Care or SalesDemonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical critical thinking and planning skills.Proactive nature and ability to manage change, anticipate risks, and design controls or mitigationExcellent leadership and communication skills (written & verbal).Proficient at leading across diverse department and roles and effectively engaging senior management.Strong judgment, prioritization, and decision – making skills, with understanding of broader context of corporate strategiesComfort and confidence in working with diverse teams and backgrounds; routinely demonstrates inclusive behaviors; actively seeks out diverse perspectives and experiencesDemonstrated understanding of healthcare trends and policy issues around both pharmacy and medical benefits and their potential impact upon the company’s business opportunities.25% TravelPreferred Experience and SkillsAssociate Director level of Marketing or Managed Care/Payer Marketing experienceExperience in Oncology/Oncology Payer/ Market access for oral oncology medicinesExperience working in alliances and collaborations with external partnersDigital promotion experienceNOTICE FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTSIn accordance with all employees subject to this policy are required to have a minimum of twelve (12) months of service in current position prior to applying for open positions.If you have been offered a separation benefits package, but have not yet reached your separation date and are offered a position within the salary and geographical parameters as set forth in the Summary Plan Description (SPD) of your separation package, then you are no longer eligible for your separation benefits package.
