Role Title: Associate Director / AVP – Tax
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Function: FinanceRole Overview
This role leads the tax function, ensuring compliance, advising on transactions, and driving tax strategy across jurisdictions. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll oversee tax planning, audits, and compliance while contributing to process improvements and regulatory alignment.Key Responsibilities
- Manage tax matters for leasing, purchasing, and selling assets.
- Lead tax planning and ensure Transfer Pricing compliance.
- Oversee corporate tax, VAT, and other compliance obligations.
- Handle audits, legislative updates, and stakeholder requests.
- Drive efficiency through automation and process improvements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years post-qualification tax experience, preferably in aviation or a Big 4 firm.
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent, with strong international tax knowledge.
- Proven ability to manage complex tax matters and stakeholder communications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and skilled in problem-solving.
