Support the team in building a profitable portfolio;
Assist in pricing reinsurance contracts and reviewing offers;
Ensure high-quality data administration and reporting;
Communicate effectively with clients and brokers;
Work with other underwriters and actuaries on internal projects;
Support colleagues in administrative roles to optimize processes;
Maintain accuracy in all aspects of processing and attention to detail in all your tasks;
Develop underwriting skills;
After training period, visit clients and attend market events.
Your profileRequirements
A strong academic background with a degree in economics or a related field;
Good analytical and technical skills;
Effective knowledge of MS-Office products, especially Excel;
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Considered a Plus
Experience working in the retail or financial services industries, particularly with reinsurance;
Knowledge of Portuguese, French and/or Dutch.
Personality and Mindset
A deep sense of reliability and responsibility, attention to detail;
Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure during renewal seasons;
A strong willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies;
A strong team player;
Good negotiation skills.
