Additionally, our office is divided into smaller pastoral care teams to foster relationships and ensure a supportive culture, emphasising wellbeing.Job DescriptionWhat will you be doing?We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Pension Team as an assistant in London, which is responsible for the support of the Pension Consultancy team in the delivery of administrative activities, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for post and other front office activities where required.
  • Liaise with relevant parties including insurers, introducing firms, etc
  • Obtain illustrations from insurers along with technical information, performance enquiries and general provider information
  • Manage records and data appropriately and securely in line with company policy
  • Ensure comprehensive client records are kept and that these are accurate and up to date at all times
  • To collaborate and share best practices with colleagues.
  • Identify and report any risks, breaches, or errors through ensuring risks are logged through to mitigating actions and controls
  • Ensure that all chargeable client work is recorded daily
  • Assist with the timely production of fee invoices and support colleagues in managing WIP, debtors, and profitability of clients

QualificationsKey Skills and Experience

  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Proficient IT skills in core Microsoft Office systems and Adobe Sign
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to prioritise and work well using initiative
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.

Professional Qualifications and Education

  • Excellent standard of education, ideally degree qualified but not essential.
  • A desire to further develop and to undertake relevant examinations.
