FunctionAs Asset TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) Manager you support and implement the asset management vison around risk decision making concepts, the improvement of associated processes and the implementation of asset management related IT tools.This includes the support towards the asset managers of the technical departments in the daily management of their assets through the development of methods, processes, data analysis, dashboards, consolidation of information and challenging their analyses in order to reach the optimum in their decision making.In particular, the Asset TCO manager of the ACE (Asset Center of Excellence) will:

• Actively improve processes and methods for managing asset costs and performance, as well as maintenance and replacement policies, you identify impacts on business & needs for transformation.
• Consolidate the asset needs of the different technical fields and to optimize the impact of decisions in terms of replacement and maintenance, e.g. coordinating of the annual maintenance program or coordinating the prioritization of the CAPEX portfolio of replacement projects or by facilitating the detailed scoping of infrastructure projects.
• Assist and challenge asset managers in drafting new policies for asset maintenance and replacement, adopting a risk-based approach, and ensuring cost optimization.
• Coach and develop the TCO Team.
• Assist and challenge asset managers in creation of their fleet budget & consolidate the asset fleet budgets for the Asset Management department.
• Manage transversal enterprise projects to develop IT tools, data or document management to improve asset management.
• Support the development of Asset Management (AM) in 50Hz and the development of an ACE on Elia group level in collaboration with the ACE Manager.
• Play an active role in the development of the strategic Asset Management partnership with the Spanish TSO Redeia (Spanish Transmission system Operator).

Your Profile

• Master’s degree with consistent outstanding academic record
• You speak and write fluently in French, Dutch and English.
• You are pragmatic and result oriented.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• You like to work in a team, you communicate easily and you have great powers of persuasion.
• You can lead a workgroup in a structured way with an action plan, schedule, roles and responsibilities to achieve the required results. You’re not afraid to take matters into your own hands when necessary.
