Our products include circuit protection, automation, switchboards systems, fuse gear and many other low voltage products.

We are looking for a talented Application Engineer to work with the sales team to select and engineer products and solutions tailored to customer solutions for the CPC business.

Key Duties:

• Provide guidance and technical support to ensure optimal performance of EATON AU`s components, systems, and third-party products (internal and external)

• Be the go-to for the power distribution sales team when they require sales support, technical support, proposal support

• Develop technical & commercial solutions based on customer requirements using Eaton and selected third party products

• Build relationships with product managers and the sales team to bridge products solutions and market requirements

• Provide input for new product development and champion innovation initiatives

• Provide product feedback to the product manager`s for material development and improvement, supporting domestic and international vendors

• Deliver presentations on Eaton’s solutions to external and internal stakeholders

• Train internally and externally to optimise Eaton’s value proposition in front of and within the customers` organisation

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience as an application or design engineer preferably in power distribution (low or medium voltage). Also open to candidates from critical power (UPS, Battery, Security Infrastructure).

• Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering

• Good working knowledge of Australian Electrical Standards and industry practices

• Ability and willingness to learn and apply new technology and trends
