Contributing to European Initiatives ποΈ: Make a meaningful impact on regional and global challenges.We are seeking an Application Support Agent – Pesticides to join our team in Brussels.Description of the project:You will be part of a support service team at the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (SANTE). You will be working for the Pesticides project as the single point of contact between the end-users, business users and IT Team for the support on the following systems:Key responsibilities:
- End-user support via email including user access rights management;
- Data entry in support to the business users in the EU Pesticides Systems;
- Data extraction and generation of reports upon request;
- Annual update of data on authorisations in Member States;
- Preparation or update of training material including presentations for webinars, videos, and guides in collaboration with A4 and E4 teams;
- Presentations and demonstrations of the systems to business users and externals;
- Business Acceptance Testing of the new releases;
- Support in preparation of analysis documents for the IT team.
Profile:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Excel and Word;
- Experienced user of web-based tools;
- Very good oral and written communication skills in English;
- Strong aptitude for team work and the capacity to work autonomously;
- Strong analytical, problem solving and learning skills;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Ability to deal with stress situations;
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy;
- Able to work in an international and multicultural environment.
Desirable:
- Preferred academic background: Agronomy, Plant sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Plant Health;
- 1 year of professional experience/traineeship with tasks closely related to those described above;
- Knowledge of EU Policy on Plant Health.
Other requirements:
- EU Citizenship.
- Resident or available to relocate to Belgium.
